chemical experiments don't belong in your body.

chemical experiments don’t belong in your body.

Eye shadow, lipstick, and nail polish contain between twenty-five and thirty-five harmful chemicals. Things like hair spray foundation, shampoo and deodorant contain between ten and twenty five chemicals. Other cosmetic and beauty products contain different quanties and various intensities of harmful chemicals. Artificial nails use some of the harshest chemicals.

The effects on the body of these chemicals range from:

  •  Irritation of skin, eyes, nose and throat.
  • Heightened allergies.
  • Compromised immune systems. This is an open door to an unbelievable amount of dangers.
  • Changes in cell structure, leaving them more susceptible to damage and cancer growth.
  • Cancer
  • Hormone disruption. Think about what this means for ten seconds.
  • Damage body organs, including lungs and heart .
  • Fertility issues
  • Headaches, and dizziness.

None so BLIND as he who will not see

One of my worst experiences with a beauty product was a perfume (which shall remain un-named).  After months of severe headaches, and I finally figured out it had to be that. I was so mad at myself for not even thinking that the name alone should have been a warning. Of course, back then, I was not so aware of these matters. I was just buying products at will like most people. The whiff  I got at the counter was way different to wearing that stuff. Way different.

Your DEODORANTS include ALUMINUM. So do some tooth pastes. This metal (yes metal) has been linked to breast cancer in women and also as a contributor to Alzheimer’s disease.

Your SUN SCREEN contains oxybenzone, which affects the human reproductive system. Has anyone noticed that human reproduction (fertility) is now a branch of medicine into which millions of dollars circulating? Or have you noticed that it is becoming more and more difficult for humans to reproduce? It is all because of the numerous chemicals reeking havoc in our bodies from the air, to the water, to the food, and the ones slapped on our skin.

Ladies, I know you have gone to nail salons, and after a few minutes you can hardly breathe. You have also noticed that the technicians there wear masks. Did you wonder why? There are so many dangerous chemicals in use that your lungs want to shut down from inhaling them.  Have you noticed a pregnant nail technician lately? That is because they know that being around those chemicals causes birth defects. So these practitioners tend to take time off from work when they are pregnant to protect their unborn babies.

Your lipstick and your mascara are contaminated with lead but you may not notice because they disguise it as Thimerosal or Merthiolate. The newest fad in lipstick is the new “stick to me” lipstick that is supposed to last all day. It is laden with lead that practically says “move me if you can”. Do you think you can move it once it gets in your liver or kidneys?

Even your baby shampoo and other baby products contains cancer-causing dioxins.

The things we do in the name of beauty!!!  I wonder if these products deserve to be called “skin care.” Perhaps if they were named  appropriately, it may cause us to stop and think before we subject our internal organs to this abuse.

Nature provides

natural oilsIf you are thinking that you have no choice but to use these chemical laden products, I am here to tell you that you do. Natural oils are readily available, and takes just a little getting used to. Or you can mix natural healthy oils with your favorite products to start with. Coconut oil, Black seed oil, grape seed oil, macadamia oil, argan oil, avocado oil, jajaba oil, almond oil, and rosehip oil are all healthy alternatives that will nourish the skin and hair and make you less dependable on dangerous products. What is ironic is that the “skin care” products manufacturers know that these natural oils are better. Maybe they know that you know as well. So, they add a small percentage in; with the concoctions and throw words around on labels. With carrot oil, no parabens,  added coconut extract, all natural herbs. Etc. etc. and in your sub-conscious mind it registers are “its’s good” “New and enhanced”, or “New and improved” “essential oils”. These catch phrases do just what they are intended to.

Come see the light

I am like most females, who own more cosmetic and beauty products than you can “shake a stick at”.  But since I have the insight to learn the difference, I hardly touch any of them. I used to belong to a Network Marketing company with expensive products. You may or may not know what happens when you are committed to auto ships. They did what they were supposed to do. They are effective. But at what cost? Fiscally and health wise?  Since I discovered what pineapple can do, I dont need chemical peels. You will be shocked what organic coconut oil and grape seed oil can do for your skin. And what is even more amazing; when your skin becomes nourished naturally, you don’t need to chemically doctor it every time you was it.

Every cosmetic skin and beauty care is a result of a chemistry experiment. They all lay claims to having the best chemist and scientists in the world. They are always changing the chemical composition of the products.

  • I want to encourage you to think on these things.
  • Consider that what is put on your skin is more crucial than what goes into your mouth.
  • Chemical build-ups in your body causes lots of problems.
  • Prevention is better than cure.

Your good health is your responsibility and it needs your attention on a daily basis.

Remember….If you wouldn’t put it in your mouth, you shouldn’t put in on your skin.
